  • Ebanks-Blake

Worth a look?.....On a free. Short term contract? 27 years of age. Has broken his leg in April so would depend how bad that was obviously
Wolves are not offering new deals to out-of-contract players Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Stephen Hunt and Christophe Berra.

Not bad players to be fair... for that league that is

    1. Cheap
    2. Hard workers ... especially hunt

The opposite to some of our current crop... good old fashioned players

Yes. A really decent striker. If he didn't break his leg recently I'd snap him up ASAP.

No not for me he's been as good as he will be , no sell on value we should be chasing the likes of young gale at P/borough now wer'e in the CC we can be more adventurous in transfer dealings with an eye on the future instead of just looking for ready made

Ebanks Blake used to be good...don't know what's happened since then though.

            Agreed....

Also, since when would we want the playters who culminated in getting Wolves relegated fom the division we're about to join...?

Yes please. Great player at Championship level and not too old, scored 14 times last season in a struggling team. Thats a good record!
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

As has been said good record especially this level, and if we pick him up for free do we need a sell on value? As long as his demands weren't ridiculous and more importantly his injury wasn't too
serious as to affect his game
a short term contract with an option too extend would be worth it i'd have thought. ......Dunno maybe H has better lined up.

Good point not needing a sell on being a free , but not to many we must find young player as long term project

Wait so now 27 is too old?? Just out of interest how old is young these days?!

If we sign Ebanks while already having SWP we could sign nine other players with double-barrel surnames, commentators nightmare and also extra column inches.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Their Icelandic player Bjørn Bergman Sigurdsson is also quite good. Would like us to get him. One for the future.

Remember a few years back (before stint in PL) he was a brilliant player for the Championship but I don't think he seems to have done much since?

Suppose wouldn't be bad to havein the squad but not a player I'll be shouting from the roof tops about.
