players care more about their club than country so why should fans care at all about national team?
they reap what they sow...not fussed at all by england games unless there's a player in there who does care...only a couple at the moment.
last time we had a team who cared was 1998. By Euro 2000 and onwards it's been sponsors, champs league, premier league, fast cars, young women and nothing in between
Don't know whether it's because I'm getting older but I don't get excited by watching England much these days, or perhaps it's because of the attitudes of most of the players. Having said that, people like David Beckham always played like he wanted to win.
As it stands, club before the national team for me these days.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
I would dare to say that most people would choose their club over the england team. Its just tedious to watch a team of 'stars' play like that when for their club they are considered 'world class' ....its a farce.
Its weird because the last two seasons have really made me question what it is i actually want for us. If being in the prem means getting beaten most weekends and watching a bunch of overpaid, over inflated ego's walk around in a QPR shirt all game then i would rather stay in the champiionship and have England win the world cup!

No. Want to be a top flight club but want TF and co to do it properly, all i was saying was IF being in prem means........then i would rather stay in Championship, would love it to be different though and sure it will be one day.

Playing like we have over this last season we will likely be battered in the championship as well, there are no guarantees. I got what you were saying, I was just being sarcastic. ;)
