Redknapp is an old school football guy and a good man to guide him (same would go for Moyes/SAF/Allardyce/Hodgeson all of whom make mistakes of course but none of them would have landed him with the mass of expensive flops he got dumped with in the summer). So if he is listening to Harry then good and same goes for Broomfield and the coaches that are all part of the new team and had nothing to do with last summer.

But sometimes I half read an article with a TF quote or a tweet and he is praising up players like Faurlin/Granero/Hoilett and I think what on earth is he talking about. Now maybe I am wrong and what does it matter what I think anyway. But does Harry rate those players? If he does then he has a funny way of showing it - Faurlin he sent on loan, Hoilett he tried to send to WBA and Granero he replaced with Jenas when he could.
So the thing I wonder is whether he is misquoted or are they TF's own football opinion or is some adviser telling him this stuff - because it don't really sound like Harry's view to me.

No, I think they're always TF's personal views. But by his own admission he stresses he's no footballing expert. Harry's even been honest enough to publicly disagree with TF recently over his reasons for this season's failure. I think it's healthy when a manager and owner aren't always scared to speak their minds even when it's not always with a unified voice.
