  • Andros Townsend

Make an offer if it doesn't work out, or will he likely get PL football elsewhere?: http://www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/lon...029-33336475/?

He'd certainly come under the new category of young talented hungry players who actually want to play for the shirt.

      Tricky one.

I don't See Tottenham dropping Bale or Lennon for Townsend & I think Townsend is too good just to sit on the bench, he's made it very clear he wants to go if he doesn't play. Not another loan.

So it comes down to go to QPR, a club that loves him, fans are well & truly behind him, he admit he's fallen in love with the club & have Harry as manager, a manager who would back him to the hill & Townsend knows first team football OR go to another Premier League club but that's a huge risk settling in, performing well, getting fans to like you, trust the manager to play you every game. It really is a big risk to go to another Premier League team if you bear in mind his age, at that age you want a spring board & being on the bench can ruin careers

Very talented boy but I feel it could be another Taarabt situation where QPR is a fantastic fit for him
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

He could play for any PL club outside of the top 6, no chance he will sign for qpr

The article says he does not want to play in the Championship and doesn't even want to stay for another month.

Doesn't say that in his quotes though.

Agree with the poster who said he could play in the starting 11 for most premier league sides, and for that reason we have no chance in signing him!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

We should make it abundantly clear to him that we want him, we see our future with him in our side and that he will be a key player in the event we go up. Play on his attachment with Harry and leave him in no doubt if it don't work out at Spurs we want him in the bush and it will be the best move for him.

Behind the scenes I hope that we are doing a proper job on him

Think us fans can play out part at Anfield on Sunday singing his name and showing our appreciation make the boy know the fans want him too. There have not been many players this year that have deserved our appreciation so lets give it to him

Has had a few good months and suddenly thinks he is too good for the Championship.

A real shame as guaranteed first team football with us where he has settled well would have further developed his game over the course of next season.

Townsend won't get into the spurs team... like a lot of their youngsters.

I don't think he will come to us now, but was a player along with Noughton and dervite that we should had invested in rather than Park, Zamora etc.

A big problem at Tottenham, a lot of good young talent being wasted
