The thread about Taarabt's apparent latest comments about leaving us made me think about the process I'm going through in building my London commercial league team for next season. I recently started running a side who have been bottom of the bottom division for the past 5 years plus. It became evident to me over the past half season that we don't have enough players who rate highly across the following key areas:

    Fitness
    Technical ability
    Team ethic
    Respect

Some are good in 1 or 2 areas, others are average across them all. As I worked with my theory over the last half a dozen games, we lost 1, won 1 and drew 4 games finishing 2nd from bottom. Ordinarily this team would have drawn 1 and lost the rest. The only loss was a cup game against a side 2nd in the division above and we only lost 1-0 & we drew with the league champions with their manager telling me that the team I had out that day would challenge next season.

My point? Transfer this simple exercise across to QPR. Bench the disrespectful ones. Bench the greedy ones. Bench the ones who talk about their 2 goals when the team lost 3-2. Make sure the players are all technically capable then play the fit ones, play the ones who respect the manager and their team mates, play the ones who will work hard consistently for the TEAM. Together Everyone Achieves More = TEAM. I took a photo of this saying off of a wall in a shop the other week:

"Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships" Michael Jordan.

We have wasted enough money already, get this right now and we will save in long run. We shouldn't be scared to bench high earners or players on long contracts. These mistakes have been made already. Lead the team Harry and lead it right!

ps - if anyone has the criteria above apply with me to come down pre-season. We are Harrow based and most away days are around Hounslow, Sudbury Hill etc :drunk:

Ideal scenario but i honestly believe that would leave us with a team of 4 or 5 players....things are that bad at our club.

That's my point mate. He must address it now, even if the cost is high to succeed we must get the team balance right
