          never known a place with so many hairdressers, is that pub white hart (I think) where kwiksave used to be still there?

              Yea still a fair few down the High Street. Kwiksave is long gone now got a little Tesco there now with a Subway & KFC which is right handy for me, I think the pub you refer to was the Royal Hart - literally shut down last year. In the process of having an antiques showroom built on it apparently.

                      Easier from ashford to go to Richmond jump on the district line to Stamford brook and your on Askew road in half an hour if you get the tube connection.

                                I worked in the building above the accountants and then we moved to the old tyre garage when our company made it into offices. Used to dice with death with the fish and chip shop down chesterfield road now and then
