  • What do you all make of Redknapp.....

Continually saying we will struggle next season blah blah blah.

Starting to get a bit peed off if Im honest.

Yeah we deserve to go down no doubt about it, we have a squad laden with over paid s h I t that no one will want to take off our hands but the seasons over, time to move on and try and change things.

Personally I think he's getting excuses ready as always so if it does go pear shaped, again, next season he will blame others, again.

The two things Rednapp has built his reputation on is motivating and buying players. He has failed to motivate our players as there has been no real improvement since Hughes. As for buying loads of players well we have tried that in the last four transfer windows and look where we are.

Really fear for us after yesterday, to be honest neither players or fans look bothered and sorry just don't see what booing any player will achieve. Rednapp has a different excuse every week and his selections have no pattern or long term plan let alone make any sense. Think we are in for a long hard slog next year an probably for a few years yet

He needs to be put out to pasture and we need a young up N coming manager with a vision/plan.... Step forward Karl Robinson or Eddie Howe.....

Quite like him tbh, but admittedly an overrated manager. Tactically not all that at all. Very good media man hense the reputation he has. Very good at distributing blame.

My boss was sat directly behind the dug out at Foolham away this season and he heard with his own ears (not a pair he borrowed) Arry tell Samba to go up top for the last 10 mins, then in the press conference after the game Arry was giving it all the old "I duno why Chris went up there, he went on his own accord". Yet you bet your bottom dollar he would have been taking credit for a master change if Samba had gone n banged an equaliser in.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

he's been guilty of tactical mistakes, sure.
but i still believe with a full pre season he'll get us back in the prem.

He keeps saying so as an excuse to buy new players. To some extent he is right as we need to make massive changes, but the big question is: will he really do well with us next season? From what I saw yesterday no because he started with Bosingwa and Mbia. Can't judge him now so let's give him time in summer, see who he will sign and how he will do until November. Tony needs to put plan B for a replacement manager from now in case Reknapp fails.

I am not sure why we keep discussing this. He is our manager and I do not think anybody really wants another change at this time. So we have to support him, even if we think what he is doing is not correct.

As far as I have seen he has only said we will 'struggle' if we kept the same set of players. Regarding the team selections, it is difficult to know what the reasons are for putting out certain players but we dont know what happens behind closed doors and what the reasons are for not playing certain players from one game to the next - We arnt dealing with a normal team here are we? We get reports of lack of discipline and lack of care from HR and TF about the players...god knows whats going on in that club. I think we should get behind harry for next season, he brought in some decent players like townsend, remy and samba and even jenas is going to be alright in the npc so I reckon with a few more faces and some sh!t shipped out we wont be questioning redknapp so much.

Think he believed his hype a little too much when he came here, been found out IMO

Capable of getting us up though

I like him, I genuinely think he thought he could save us when he came here, but if you read between the lines there was a lot of problems behind the scenes in the dressing room with a number of players (that won't be here next season).
Mark Hughes was 100% to blame as he was the one that over paid and brought players in that were either injury prone or past it. We never bought any youngsters.
I would rather a younger manager who could build a side for the future, but then again we need stability badly and changing again might be worse.

He's saying it to lower expectation and to drive home he needs good funding imo. There were complaints galore on here everytime he said we'd survive. Warnock was vilified for trying to do the same thing when he said things like "we're just going to enjoy the match"......a large portion of posters were hammering him.Did they really think that's what Warnock said to his teams in the changing rooms?

Opinion amongst the fans on harry was divided at Tottenham and now we are seeing why, no doubt the same at his clubs before spurs as well.

I am far from convinced but will hope for the best in the Championship.

He is prepairing us for the truth we will find it hard to get rid of the **** and hard to keep the ones we do want. Harry will want at least three seasons to adjust and build his own team if he does it in less then we are very lucky and well done Qpr
