Don't know where to begin about Redknapp really. I respect him for what he has done with some clubs, but I feel that he took this job without ever trying sincerely to motivate our 25 man squad to play with heart and pride. They weren't his squad, true, but he took the job in good faith and presumably undertook to try his damnedest to preserve our premiership status. I don't believe that he can look in the mirror and say that he has done that, and I want to know why. Anybody could have done what he has done so far, no need to pay someone 3 million a year for that.

He used the 'having his trousers pulled down' expression soon after he arrived, he has continued to do the same since which really hacks me off.

Cant be bothered reading all the posts on this thread, but the constant defending of HR is seriously ridiculous. He's had ages, plenty of games, proper serious backing in a window which Hughes didnt have (clearly told to look for frees initially, hence 8, then late in window after poor start spent some money with Granero and Mbia). He brought in half a team in jan also.

His tactics have been shocking at times
His selections have been shockijng at times
His obsession with injured Zamora ridiculous
          His constant negativity annoying
          Pre emted excuses annoying.

Main fact to consider, we WERE 6 points from safety when he arrived, we NOW 14 points behind the 17th team.
          We have gone backwards!

Equally ridiculous is attacking the manager after every defeat. This is why we are where we are....fans losing patience with Warnock and so it began.
The season is over the players are on the beach or thinking about which superclub will come in for them, we need managerial stability.
I would like to point out as well that when he said he believed we would be staying up there was a number of fans hammering him for
being unrealistic and clueless....so i think the negativity dig is unfair

                  said it when he arrived

redknapp is a media darling but is tactically inept. typical old school English 'hit & hope' type of manager... the spurs fans hate him

i'd keep him just for continuity, but we need a director of football to oversee transfers... redknapp will sign a load of 25year old workhorses

i would not be surprised to see the media turn on us if we sacked him

Bought the wrong players to start with and were left with a gutless bunch of thieves and skidmarks. No manager on earth could have kept us up with the dross we've ended up with.

He's taken about 5 clubs down now hasn't he? Not many managers have done that.

                      Just saying.

A superb description of three quarters of our squad. Booooooooo to them.

Think you're wrong.........try 1 before us, both of them coming into the job not from the start. I don't blame him or "credit" him with taking us down, Hughes sent us down

Of course, Harry mustn't take any responsibility for taking us down regardless of his shocking performance....! Forget comparing with Hughes at the start of the season, that was shocking yes, but any manager who comes in would've improved things. Harry did, ut not by anywhere near enough.

They have both been sh1te for us and both deserve blame. How anyone can sugest Redknapp has done nothign wrong when you look at how many "winnable" games he's failed to win is pathetic.

Sick of hearing all this rubbish about they werent his players etc etc.. that's an excuse. Any manager into a new job gets a group who aren't their players and is expected to get a tune and improvement from them. Harry did marginally, nothing more. The fact the players were massively underperforming anyway, i see that as minimum expectation. He didnt get them performing well.

So what do we do then? Fire Harry? Continue the managerial merry go round that we thought had ended with Flavio leaving? Screw stability? Not give Harry a fair crack at the championship? Get a younger manager in, someone hungry, because we would definitely be successful? And then if this younger manager isn't living up to expectations halfway through the season, get rid of him too?

No. Keep Harry, give him a fair crack at the championship.

No i dont want to sack him and change managers again, as you say stabiulity is essential now. What i want is for him to have a spine and take some accountability for some of the failure this season and stop making excuses already for next year. He's clearly itching for a large transfer budget again, and imo, we cant be going through a transffer window farce again. Too many comings and goings do not create a good team spirit needed among the squad.

As for the accountability thing, that goes for all those fans sho suggest he's blemeless in all this also.
