I do agree, that we fans have been fed a lot of spin by the club and ITKs, but overall, we are in a far healtier position than we were in August 2007 (that's right, it is just 2 years since the club almost went broke and had a squad made up of the likes of Cullip, Bignot, Curtis, Rehman, Barker, Nardiello, Moore, Bailey & Nygaard.

I don't know about other fans, but I know where I prefer to be.

As for now, if they gel, Faurlin and Watson could be QPR's new Francis and Masson, Buzsaky (Bowles), Routledge (Thomas) Simpson (Givens) and we also have Taarabt, Rowlands and Vine (if he recovers).

Ironically I think Nygard would do ok in this side! He would score more than Helguson and Agymang!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

I have never met or spoken to *Pete and co*.
Amidst all the hysteria of not signing an elusive 20-goal man and a defender who plays with his left foot, I think we have a good squad.

We actually needed a box to box centre mid player.
Rowlands (injury prone and getting on), Legs (brill one day, so-so the next), Faurlin (unproven in this league) and Mahon (...) aren't going to do that job.

As I said, it's far from perfect, but I will take this for now.

We've got a couple of ITKs who big things up and get people excited.

BUT the crap I've read is laughable. Get your cheque book out, sign him, sign that. I know nothing about signing players but am sure it ain't that easy. You'd think we're a massive club. We're a small club in west London who has got some rich owners.

Can't we stay positive and see with Simpson and the Ginger one that we've strengthened our squad considerably.

I can't wait to see them play. What a selection headache for Magilton. And it's a massive move on from where we were a couple of years back.

It's not perfect by any long stretch of the imagination but we have a squad that has great strength in depth.

Enjoy the ride and stop being such a bunch of bellends. And stop the moaning. G'night.
Well done Volpone......... a load of posters seem to think that we're no better off than when ''those awful people'' took us over.

They've saved my club, and for that I'm forever grateful. Also, do the detractors honestly believe that the board want us to fair badly? .... I've also read on another board that the considered opinion is that Flavio et al have bought us for some sort of tax write off !!!!! it's quite sad really.

Well Done Volpone! Completely agree with everything you said!

QPR dad - some people have short memories except when i comes to remembering one flippant champions league quote...similar to the sort of lets rally the fans bru ha ha quotes coming out of any freshly taken over club..see notts county.

you only have to look at the state portsmouth have got themselves into, they had their one day in the sun and are paying for it now big time!

Post of the day. What type of cars do you think Helguson or Agyman would be?

Helguson - The Trotters' Reliant Robin, seeing as he doesn't look 100% fit, but gets from A-B.

Agyemang - Starsky & Hutch's red car with the stripe. Looks quite good, but actually isn't,

            Hammersmith R

Actually, I think Nygaard would do quite well considering the service the forwards get from balls into the box. I think he would have scored more than 3 so far this season.

This is partly why I wouldn't mind seeing Pellicori used more as a sub for the last 20 mins of matches. He may not run fast, but let's see what he can do with a supply of crosses and balls into the area from Watson, Faurlin, Taarabt and Routledge, before we discard him as a flop.
