They need to beat Arsenal away to even have a chance, I dont think they do. Think they will crumble next season if they go down, Martinez will be off along with their better players.
Be hilarious if Newcastle or another big club go down, but realistically would rather a small team like Wigan go down - less comp for us.

Do you really think Wigan will keep hold of there manager and most of there better players ? they will not want championship football so there team will have to be rebuilt just like ours,so cannot see them being a force next year, get them down !!

See I don't think they will loose there squad as they don't really have any household names or players everyone else wants so to some extent the status quo will remain for them
Where as Newcastle there team is all French and like our flops they never signed to play in the championship so there going to want to jump ship and those that don't wont be committed just like our mercenaries. If Newcastle drop the upheaval there will be on a par with what's going to happen at ours.
Of the two I would have my money on Wigan finishing in the top two over Newcastle.

maybe West acton ,but the likes of mcmanaman, kone and Espinoza who seem the hub of that team to me will seek pastures new, they are too good for the champ, and losing Martinez would be a big.big blow to them,so I don't think it will be plain sailing for them !

When Newcastle came back up last time and more or less ran away with the league they had Nolan, Carroll, Smith, Barton, Taylor, Harper, Nicky Butt and Damien Duff who do they have now who can compare to those characters?? if they drop there in for as much as a battle as we are possibly even bigger. Like us they sold there soles and have went down an alternative route which if successful works in the prem but is not made for the championship.
People have been knocking and underestimating Wigan since they got in the prem. They have a sensible chairman who does things the right way if they drop they will not tear up everything and start again they will continue as they have done the last 10 years. You name three good players above but what Wigan appear to have other then just individuals is an actual team ethic/ethos so if those three go they will replace them with three other unknown players who will step in and perform just as well as that's how they have operated since Whelan took over. No doubt they already know what manager they want in the event Roberto gets off and he will be of similar style hence fits straight in
