I never knew wearing the team's jersey to a match was so uncool for many and I never ever thought people would be offended by older guys wearing their tight fitting QPR shirts! It's a good thing there was a retro version of the Guinness shirt because my circa 1982 one was getting a little tight, too many times in the dryer I suppose!

Fascinating debate. I always wear my Rangers shirt to games and I'm 60 in October ... my body's a temple, but that's another story. Travelling down to Waterloo as I do you get to chat with so many fans who would not of known who you supported if it were not for the Hoops. The train is normally used by Arsenal fans coming home and they respect a fan following his team through thick and thin and often stop as they meander through the carriage for a quick chat ... normally along the lines of 'You were unlucky today'. No, if you look alright then wear it with pride. I agree with an earlier poster regarding the new badge and I'd like us to revert to the instantly recognisable previous one and the reason why ... when it first came out I was waiting at Axminster station when some West Ham passed me and couldn't work out the team I was supporting and after passing me a few times decided ... looks like Reading!Heaven has a road, but no one travels it, hell has no gate but men will dig to get there
