  • Fernandes promises no easy exit for players about to quit

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

This is why they're sensible. This is very clever. Tony's saying if you want to go that's fine, but you & your agents find a club, & this club will not get a low price & you're not taking QPR for mugs.

I really think QPR have learnt & will get it right. Hence why I've said relegation is possibly the best thing to happen to QPR right now
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

      aree 100% with your comment.

we needed to clear the decks and build from scratch.

hopefully fernandes wont be throwing vast sums of money at ageing players anymore.

he says these players have relegated the club and now they want him to pay them to move on.

If they wont accept pay cuts to move on (not many clubs will match their current pay) and he is content to fund their wages, I'd keep them on and make them suffer.

He said: “I will never force anyone to play for us, but we’ve got to get an option that’s good for the club. They’ve got to be fair for us. After all, it’s their futures as well.

Put yourself in my position. I’ve been relegated by these players, and now they want me to pay them to go somewhere else. Would you do it?

If I let everyone go regardless, I’ll have a bunch of vulture agents at me straightaway. There has to be compromises.”

Well done Tony, it's only fair after the amount we were paying them. No one else wanted to pay them that and you can see why!

If they are as good as they think they are, they will not be here next season.

That sends a very clear message to the players and more importantly to their leeches....... i mean agents!

We have plenty of players there will always be takers for. Any club wanting them will look at their past best and put the poor QPR experience down to a blip.

Harry has probably helped him a bit with all this b0ll0x. Bit of experience with players in and out and tw@t agents etc

Tony learned his lessons the hard way. However I support him all the way. Now he is talking like a true Ranger. Players are very well paid nowadays and they should show more respect to the people and the clubs that pay their fantastic living. Remember Odimwingie?

I think our Tony has learned the rules of this industry now. Took a little bit of time with trial and error but he got there.

Now, can people start backing the chairman please and let him get on with running the world's greatest football club
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
