Originally posted by madara View PostStop calling players mercenaries, it's ridiculous. Everyone in our squad has gotten a pay raise. And now everyone will have to take a pay cut. Some players have more experience than others and naturally they should get paid more. Like in real life, like you and me. We do our best as best as we can, sometimes we make mistakes and we have to make up for it. Bosingwa made a mistake but have played better than most players imo.
However, I think what gets people's backs up (well, mine anyway) is when these people picking up the big wedge each week barely put the effort in on the pitch. I couldn't care what they earn, just so long as they bust a b0ll0ck for us for 90mins per game - not too much to ask? Is it? :pleasantsuprise:You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I just can't imagine a scenario in which Mbia was not the author of the original tweets. Were that the case, surely he would have worked with the club's media people by now to clear it all up. This line of reasoning slightly expanded here:
WRITING ABOUT QPR AND OTHER NONSENSE:

The only thing i will add to this Mbia stuff is this, If he wants out then i can't see the club standing in his way, he says in the "original tweet" that he wants to talk but QPR don't, i just don't see that.
I think TF is fed up of these players having taken good money are so indifferent about where they have left us, and has decided that they will go on QPR's terms, (as much as he can) and maybe it's just no departures will
be discussed until the season ends.

We will find out when the team for Newcastle is released. If Mbia is in the team then his account was hacked and I feel a little sorry for him. If not (and I think it will be the case) then he is a word beginning with C that I cannot use on this forum.

Whatever that money is, the owners of their club have offered them and the player accepted - can't blame the player for that. If I were offered £60k a week to work for a rival firm I'd bite their hand off.

If we actually HAD a team full of mercenaries we wouldn't be in the deep stuff we are in. Mercenaries are people who bust a gut fighting for causes they have no direct interest in, for an agreed sum of money. They are highly effective and often motivate interested parties in overcoming stronger and more powerful adversaries.
What we have at Loftus Road are not mercenaries, they are fraudsters pure and simple.

Excellent point. Could this be the post of the season? I shan't be describing said fraudsters as mercenaries again.
