does anyone else have any problem with them outside the ground , i take exception to being searched on entry to the ground . i'm told its for my own safety then told i wont be let in as i'm abusive when i never raised my voice or used any swear words . how can it be right that i spend a lot of money on a ST and some jobswoth can then refuse me admission as i question why he feels the need to search me . i had to speak to a supervisor was told i was in the wrong . in the wrong for what questioning why ive been searched at the last 3 home games .

Not meaning to be argumentative but whats wrong with being searched?? it happens to most of us at games and think you will find its at the clubs instructions not that there just doing it for the sake of it

Agree with you its frustrating but if that's what there instructed to do I don't see the harm

I always get searched at away games, rarely at Loftus Road entrance to Upper tier though. Unless it's changed.

why cant i ask why i'm being chosen to be searched i go to games with children so i'm hardly likely to be causing any trouble

Do you have a bag??? on Ellersie Rd they insist on searching every person with a bag which is generally the women who are least likely to cause trouble but they do randomly stop men.

You should certainly be able to question why your getting signalled out if others are not.

At away games I always get tugged for a search even when there letting everyone else through.

What p isses me off is how they go into lockdown mode if they catch you trying to bring a bottle top in

no bag mate , what amazes me is that a steward can refuse me entry . i had to aologise to him to gain entry , why because i voiced why i was being singled out at know time did i refuse the search . i even asked the superviser who told me he desn't have to give me a reason .

Ever thought it might be your manner of asking why you are being searched, rather than the actual question itself?

Are you anything like your avatar towards the stewards? Maybe that's your answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was a barney with a steward after the game on Saturday as everyone was leaving two people were trying to re enter the ground. The steward said they were not allowed back in one they had left but they kept arguing they were meeting someone. Suppose he was only doing his job but personally its not a job I would want to do

They're thick as. Every other home game I go to visit my mum after the match. I take a bottle of wine with me in a bag. When it comes to searching I approach them rather than wait to be stopped - wrap the wine in a jumper in the bag and open it, pull out the jumper and they look in the empty back. Put the bottle and jumper back in and make my way into the ground. Every time. 7 years on

Stewards should always remember that WE are PAYING CUSTOMERS.

They never seem to get the balance right between treating us with the respect due to customers who have paid an awful lot of money to be at Loftus Rd, and preventing possible trouble by the tiny *****ic element.

Stewards should be there to, above all else, assist paying customers at Loftus Rd, and respond to any trouble that MIGHT happen.
