  • QPR boss reveals future for Rob Green

    “It’s a difficult situation.

“I don’t see Julio being here next year – he’s not a player for the Championship. He’s a player for a top Italian or Spanish, or Premier League team. Julio’s got the World Cup coming up and he’s the top Brazilian keeper.

“Rob’s come in and done great for me and he’s the one we’re looking at to play here next season.”

      This is seriously good news.
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I hope there's a bidding war for Julio.

Think Green got a rough deal from a lot of fans. Know a few Hammers who rate him. Every keeper has had dodgy moments this season to be fair. Just look at Joe Hart.

massive respect for green if he's in after being cast aside for the most part of the season. Takes some real nuts to swallow that and carry on in the championship, wouldnt blame him at all if he wanted out though.

Green has played in 5 of the 6 games we have won this season. That speaks volumes. I think it would be great to keep hold of him

If you speak to any level headed West Ham fan they'll tell you they always rated him, all the Weat Ham fans I knew (honest too) all said they were gutted to see him leave

This. Green all day for me. Just hope he sticks around and isn't fed up.

I would be happy enough with Green for next season

Hopefully him hearing now he's the keeper for next season will boost his confidence over pre season and put him in the zone but then again he was told last season e was No1
