just have a look at the lack of transfer activity across the championship today and that might just give an indication of how how difficult it was to do business today and ****** all to do with lack of ambition. To get Watson and Simpson in over the past 5 days is a massive step in the right direction

I think you will find that whatever championship 'chat room' you going in to - they are unhappy with a)their squad and b)the lack of activity today even Ipswich where they were 'promised' 4 signings

The problem was created over the weekend when this message board said we would be signing 3 x prem players; striker, mid, LB.

Expectation was created but not met.........

if at the start of the summer I was told we would sign the players we have signed i would have been delighted!!!

Expectations appears to be dangerous, majority of it created by the internet!

I am very happy with the 'calibre' of player we are getting in.

you need to take off the rose tinted glasses mate......you are entitled to be happy as some of us are entitled to be unhappy.......

people seem to be evading the point..

im delighted.. we have signed two quality players.. all be it on loan..

both are QUALITY...

however given it took our board 2 weeks before deadline day to realise that our strikers are NOT GOOD ENOUGH.. considering we havent really changed it from last season and we had near enough the worst GOALS FOR tally!

im happy with who we have signed.. im annoyed that names like hooper, bale and watson have all been mentioned on the deadline day. to get promoted these are players u go for in the summer... think if we had these we would prolly at least have 6-9 extra points!

you think....so sorry for not being a happy chappy and seeing things for what they are......we sign one player today and people say we are now ready to make a push.......trouble is if we don't get into the play-offs in december then that player goes back....then back to where we were before our magnificent transfer deadline day.

but hay ho perhaps i should just act happy for the sake of it.
