I'm probably in the minority here but I don't think we were. I think he was superb last season I really do, not knocking that at all, but I think another year in the top flight would have been a step too far from him and he wouldn't have been remembered as fondly as he is.
Great servant though and seems a top top bloke.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. -
I think we were. Not only on the pitch, but also as a teamplayer and character in the diversity former known as our dressingroom.
Personally, I would have liked Tommy Smith to stay aswell.QPR

I kind of agree with you here, but as our top scorer last season we should have kept him on. A warrior in the vein of Nelsen and Hill and the sort of character we dearly missed this season.
