Durham and Goughie were talking openly about wages of the QPR players yesterday evening... Was something released showing these details? They commented on J.Bothroyds wage and the fact that our weekly payout in wages was around £1.5 million I believe I heard?

That would assume an average of £60,000 per 25 man squad player, or slightly less to cover Barton and Cisse? Must be right though, they never get anything wrong.

It was all due to an article in the Sun the other day whick listed all our players with 'estimated' wages next to each one. That seems to be a good enough source to quote as fact now for Talksport.

Indeed, they base entire shows on journalists information and use it as fact. Of course we all know just how accurate much of this stuff is and I get totally hacked off when people start repeating it as though it's 100% correct information because it was in the Sun or Numpty said it on Talk****e

Yes the funny thing is that if you devour everything that is online or in the papers about QPR (like the saddo I am!) you quickly realise how much of it is regurgitated and often some days or weeks later.

Whatever the true figure (we may never know) they must be astronomical on the basis that Arry has made reference to the excesses of players wages and contracts continually since he's been with us.
I would have thought all players signed in the TF era must have ridiculously high salaries, as I've never known a manager at a club being so damning about his players wages. I don't think I've even heard a manager whose left a club #### off his old clubs wage bill. The fact that Arry has been kept, must mean its true, how much is a guesstimate but I don't think these reporters are far off.
Arry knows big wages he's managed WH, Pompey & spuds, so god knows what our lot are earning for him to be so vitriolic.

Having seen TF on SSN last night state that the biggest wage is actually £65K Im more inclined to believe that. #rosetintedglasses ?
