now that premiership sides cant loan players we have more chance than ever to get bale than ever, and i think he will join us
my sources are telling me that bale met with the club but im yet to know how this meeting went?
and i cant belive some of you are moaning about the transfer dealings, for me the board have done there bit and its up to the players and jm to perform on the pitch end of!!!!

so yet again a manager is left with an un-balanced squad and he is the one who gets fired when it doesn't produce promotion. don't get me wrong, i agree even the team we had before getting watson and simpson underperformed but even on paper if you compared our squad with that of cardiff, sheff utd, newcastle, boro etc you wd have to say they have the better all round squads. thats not to say that we don't have several cracking players that i wouldn't swap with anyone in this division, but our squad is two key players short of being the finished article.

Yeah, fair enough Egham Newcastle are a bit hard to make a judgement about because they cd go either way. But if you look at Cardiff's strike force and then at ours you almost want to weep. (And BTW I fully accept lots of other clubs wd prob be equally jealous of our midfield, central defence and goalkeeper).

The massive problem area is the other side.
If don't don't sign a decent left back it will be a huge mistake and will cost us any chance of promotion. Borrowdale for me isn't great at defending and isn't great at attacking, infact he is a very boring dull player that you forget is out there maybe not 10 men but not far off.

All 3 can do a very good job there.

Currently, no-one can do a good job at LB. There lies the problem.
