Wow that does surprise me and he has gone up massively in my estimations for that. I imagined he would be the first to jump ship tbh, what with having spend his career at Real Madrid, the thought of 2nd tier English football is probably about as appealing to him as having Susan Boyle sit on his face.

Hasn't set the world alight for us and I know a few people don't like him, but I, personally, think it's clear to see he has alot of talent but needs to learn to get up for a fight abit more. Would be chuffed if he stayed tbh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

In that article it says west ham are the only team in the last 9 to have come straight back up. Didn't Newcastle p*ss the championship?

          Granero targets QPR stay

Esteban Granero has already insisted that he is happy to stay at Queens Park Rangers and try to help them back to the Premier League.

But the question is if they're willing to give our club that 100%?

We shopped in Harrods... when we could have purchased the same thing from the Pound Shop!

O£ co£rs£ h£ is h£pp£ t£ st£y....I mean after his performances this season who will be stupid enough to a) offer £5m plus for him b) offer him a wage of around 70k a week?

No doubting there is a good player in there somewhere, but he has no choice but to be happy and stay.

looked ok at reading as the game was played at snails pace with zero passion from either team.barnsley or somewhere of that ilk on a freezing tuesday night in a game played at a million miles an hour with no time on the ball may not suit his style but maybe im wrong.

I actually think he does put in a shift more than many. He also isnt afraid to chase back and get stuck in unlike many, often when the likes of Adel lose the ball and dont chase back themselves.

Also, ref no time on the ball, i actually think he is very good in posession even in congested areas, as has the quality to create space for himself and find a pass, similar to Faurlin in that division.

In the last 9 years or last 9 teams to have gone down? meaning the last 3 seasons...

                      Newcastle walked it in 09/10

I rate him but he wasn't up to the pace of the Premier League, perhaps he was still adjusting? Championship will be easy for him, a lot more time and space on the ball to play his game, same with Ale Faurlin, both similar players and I hope Ale gets games next season.

Granero and Faurlin CM pairing next season then?

It wasnt so long ago when MOTD was raving about their performance together when we dominated Spurs. They did that thing where they connected the 2 players with a line and showed the understanding between the pair. It was beautiful to watch!

I can only hope Stevie Claridge is equally as adept during his post game analysis!

Ive got a feeling that Granero could be an important player for us next season. Just a hunch.
