Funky I agree with your comment but I think that some people on here are just a little concerned and rightly so in my opinion. 3 quality players all on loan. If we don't gain promotion, which is a tough ask this season with teams like west brom, newcastle and Middlesborough then we won't have the option to buy these players. Then we look at the squad next season minus Simpson, minus Tarrabt and minus Watson and you think Oh we are back to square one. Loans can work if you gain instant success otherwise you are just running around in a circle.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Pete - what do have to say about the chairman's comments?

If his is true, Paladini has just brought QPR FC into disrepute. Any time he has a conversation with someone from another football club about a player, he will be mocked for making a £1M bid for one of their players. In any other business, a director would be fired for this, but not QPR FC.

Yes and no if they both fail then we have lost nothing apart from wages.

This gives us an opportunity to look at players before shelling out massive wages.

I cant belivee Ipsiwch spent 4 million on two very averages players.

I remember Ledesma being compared to Stan Bowles after a hat trick in the league cup after Carlisle.

Glad we did not listen to the fans then who thought we sign him straight away.

As it happens I think with these new additions and stay injury free we have a shot of the top 6 automatic promotion will be out of our reach but as long as we keep improving each year I think we will be doing well.

What I really want to know is,

            Legs
            Buzzacky
            Taarbet
            Rowlands
            Watson
            Faurlin
            Routledge
            Cook
            Ephraim
            Balanta
            Mahon

That's a hell of a lot of midfield we are paying for and only 5 of them can play in a game and not all the rest will make the bench and more often than not 4 and we could add vine to the list as he as always been at his best operating on the left.

Yet we won't spend on a half decent striker or a left back, why is that?

                  Hell of a midfield, but

Legs ( can play right back or even centre back)
                  Buzzacky (underperformed so far)
Taarbet ( can play as winger/striker)
                  Rowlands (injured at mo)
                  Watson
                  Faurlin
                  Routledge (plays right wing)
                  Cook (injured)
                  Ephraim
Balanta (more of a left winger.striker)
                  Mahon (probably not good enough)

Which is why I would keep him. I'd play him as left back... Not ideal, but rather that than the right-footed Matt Connelly being shunted out there again.
Or Borrowdale, until we LOAN a good replacement for him.

                      - IRON chairman Steve Wharton has played down claims Queen's Park Rangers have had a transfer deadline day bid for Gary Hooper rejected.

He admits he had a chat with Rangers' sporting director Gianni Paladini about the striker after the two teams' Championship clash at Glanford Park last Saturday.

But he denies a fee had been mentioned.

"After we played QPR on Saturday, they told us Hooper was a player that they had admired and asked me if he would be for sale," said the United chairman.

"I told them the answer was 'no'.

"If that constitutes a bid for him, then I suppose yes they have made one. But I have had no further conversation with anyone from QPR since then.
Oh how the ITK crew go deaf and dumb! Come on ITK peeps, what is your response to the Scunny Chairmans statement?

                        Does it really matter!
Scunthorpe Chairman tells QPR Hooper is not for sale.
Why would he say that if we had not made an enquiry.

End of story - move on.

Oops, sorry, you say "End of story" so it must be!

Enquiries are different to Offers, or are you unaware of this seemingly unknown 'Fact'!
