Funky I agree with your comment but I think that some people on here are just a little concerned and rightly so in my opinion. 3 quality players all on loan. If we don't gain promotion, which is a tough ask this season with teams like west brom, newcastle and Middlesborough then we won't have the option to buy these players. Then we look at the squad next season minus Simpson, minus Tarrabt and minus Watson and you think Oh we are back to square one. Loans can work if you gain instant success otherwise you are just running around in a circle.

Did Gianni really make a bid for Hooper?

If his is true, Paladini has just brought QPR FC into disrepute. Any time he has a conversation with someone from another football club about a player, he will be mocked for making a £1M bid for one of their players. In any other business, a director would be fired for this, but not QPR FC.

This gives us an opportunity to look at players before shelling out massive wages.
I cant belivee Ipsiwch spent 4 million on two very averages players.
I remember Ledesma being compared to Stan Bowles after a hat trick in the league cup after Carlisle.
Glad we did not listen to the fans then who thought we sign him straight away.
As it happens I think with these new additions and stay injury free we have a shot of the top 6 automatic promotion will be out of our reach but as long as we keep improving each year I think we will be doing well.

What I really want to know is,
Legs
Buzzacky
Taarbet
Rowlands
Watson
Faurlin
Routledge
Cook
Ephraim
Balanta
Mahon
That's a hell of a lot of midfield we are paying for and only 5 of them can play in a game and not all the rest will make the bench and more often than not 4 and we could add vine to the list as he as always been at his best operating on the left.
Yet we won't spend on a half decent striker or a left back, why is that?

- IRON chairman Steve Wharton has played down claims Queen's Park Rangers have had a transfer deadline day bid for Gary Hooper rejected.
He admits he had a chat with Rangers' sporting director Gianni Paladini about the striker after the two teams' Championship clash at Glanford Park last Saturday.
But he denies a fee had been mentioned.
"After we played QPR on Saturday, they told us Hooper was a player that they had admired and asked me if he would be for sale," said the United chairman.
"I told them the answer was 'no'.
"If that constitutes a bid for him, then I suppose yes they have made one. But I have had no further conversation with anyone from QPR since then.

Why would he say that if we had not made an enquiry.
End of story - move on.
Oops, sorry, you say "End of story" so it must be!
Enquiries are different to Offers, or are you unaware of this seemingly unknown 'Fact'!
