  • OH NO! Barton hasn't ruled out coming back

Barton hasn't ruled out coming back in the summer.

Oh, how I wish they had just listened. It could have saved a lot of heartache. Will I go back? I do have 2 year contract but it is also true

    Joseph Barton ‏@Joey7Barton 5m
..that Marseille have made me an offer to stay. On the the season finishes, i'll sit down with my family and decide. It will be difficult...

...for me to leave Marseille. A club that is close to my heart. That backed me when nobody else did. I'll never ever forget that. For me, it

..will be hard to leave here but I am owned by QPR. I will sit down after the season and talk with all parties. I will never move for money

Not fussed - he's a good player, but unreliable. A bit like 75% of our squad

Probably been told to shut up by someone and also had it highlighted to him that he is doing his own value no favours.

Well if he does come back he should partner Faurlin in the middle.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

He has also said that he will never move for money again because he did that once and it was a ''catastrophic error''. He really doesn't give a to$$ about us. He's just seeking attention, as usual

That would possibly be a better CM pairing than we've had all season! Something has to give because I can;t see us subsidizing his wages at another club next season!

I'm so torn on this geezer it's untrue. Backed him from day one, sat through every inept performance, watched him go into meltdown, read him mugging us off, then at the same time his 'replacements' were as bad if not worse & certainly didn't show anywhere near the heart & effort he showed (I'll give him that 100%) now talk of him coming back. Proper twisted my nut this one.

Ok I'm gonna be honest the way the club is at the moment I feel we could do with him on the pitch I'm just super sceptical about his twitter nonsense & his divisive influence in the dressing room. If he chilled out a bit he could be a big asset in the CCC.

I really don't want him to come back, he's a nutcase. I remember in so many games last year how incompetent he was at passing/taking set pieces, but I suppose it's the same with M'Bia.

I'd have Joey Barton with us in the championship.

I agree Ric. Although he was most rubbish first time around he's had a good season with Marseille. However, bringing him back would be a huge gamble and we haven't had luck on our side lately, so if we have the chance to offload him to Marseille on decent terms I think we should take it.
