Just let the few clowns who want to put the boot in do what they want.If it gives them some sort of perverse pleasure so be it. The rest of us will just let TF and co. get on with what they are planning to do.

As for people moaning about recruiting Phil Beard, the man who single handedly turned the O2 into the money making machine it is now, give me strength!

Ultimately it was him who decided our tansfer policy would be about "big" name big money signings. And ultimately he is the reason we are lumbered with so many mercenaries.

He not a bad person. But his naivety that he could keep throwing money at us in order to get publicity and success has cost this club is premiership status and much of its pride.

So people suck up to him if you want. But I lay the blame for most of this mess squarely at his door.
Cookie I can understand people can say he hasn't been successful, because he hasn't but he had a go and as for the transfers they should be solely down to the manager, enough people moaned when Briatori kept getting involved in the signings. TF put his faith in 2 managers, who should have been able to repay his faith. Hughes's signings were diabolical and are ultimately the reason we have been relegated, Harry's were left too much to do. A lot of owners put faith in their managers in all walks of life and he should have got a better return from them, Harry was left an impossible task, so he gets the benefit of doubt for now and I pray that he can turn this around now because TF deserves him to.

TF is ultimately responsible, but not *directly* responsible, he has admitted it and has said he is meeting HR 11am tomorrow to discuss the squad and next season. He has re-iterated his desire to stay and improve QPR as a whole, and yet people still give him stick?

We are down, but I cant think of one decision that he made that was ever questioned by anyone on here. Now we are down, the maggots are crawling out of the woodwork to have a go. Disgraceful.

i dont get all this stuff regards TF will he stay or go?He has a 66% stake in the club..so,even if he wanted to go,he'd have to find somebody to buy his shares. Its not like there are loads of people walking about who could just walk in and buy him out.

Id say maybe Onuha... Who was ironically signed by Hughes.

Warnock and Redknapp both signed over rated over paid ****e.

Mark Hughes should take a fair bit of the blame but is an easy scapegoat when the problem goes far deeper.

To be frankly, some did question why he didn´t get Sparky the push a few matches earlier than he did, but on the whole he has done Ok, IMO. The main reason why we are in this mess is the fact that the players have spent near the whole season quarelling about money and wages. Hence I blame the players.

But it was the club that brought in players on 5x the salaries of their colleagues - never going to work. Hence why he has to learn and try not to make the same mistakes in future. I am sure he will learn

Yes, I know, and I guess I´m a bit oldfashioned , but the players should have acted in a professional way on the field whatever amount of money they were earning.

Um can you put up your countless posts dating back to the summer where you complained bitterly about the signings we made....thanks
This is the thing that has annoyed be the most. For some Tony "the saviour" Fernandes is above critcism. We saw the same with Paladini and then Briatorie. They saved the football club we'd be nothing with out them blah blah blah.

But Ill say it again. I DONT WANT HIM TO LEAVE.

But owners and players come and go. The fans make up a football club.

As fans we all have the right to critcise the owners of our football club, especially when I fundamentally disagree with the direction the club is being taken.

And seein as you asked, here is a thread from last summer (my first on this board) arguing against signing more and more players.

                        Valid points.

But I would argue that regardless of our manger, uner Fernandes very few of our signings have been great.

I think that this come down to Fernandes trying to quickly buy sucess and generate PR and advertising chances rather than senisibly running the club.

I agree the manager should be in charge of singings but that hasnt always been the case.

Park is the best example. Now he wasnt signed behind Hughes back, but Tony earmarked him as a marquee siging that would generate publicity, especially in Asia.

I suspect the same happen with many of the others. Hughes didnt say specifically I want Bosingwa, but the chance to sign him came up to sign him the board said do you want him and Hughes didnt say no.

Hughes has allot to answer for but so do the owners of the club for focusing on "big" names rather than quality players. Barton, SWP, Anton are all examples of this but were signed under Warnock.

Sorry to all QPR fans. Took 3 years to get Caterham right
Can't say I'm too keen on the way he measures success , if he thinks he's doing it right with Caterham ......

PS I'm with you Cookie !

The man IS NOT beyond criticism !

PPS Why was Cotteril beside him in the directors box by the way ?
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."
