I would rather they gave Bothroyd a run personally. He's alreayd established with QPR and destroyed the Championship when last there. He and AJ as a front 2 to start for me, if both fit, with DJ / Zamora back up.... can't see them all staying though.

Our main aim should be for as little disrution and transition as possible if we want any hope of bouncing back up. We have 4 strikers who would all be classed as definitely Good Championship strikers, so why look at more? Add to that Taarabt who scored 19 last time we were there, plus Hoilett who could bag plenty if he sorts his game.

Trouble is Del 2 of the 4 miss large chunks of the season and cant be relied upon in terms of fitness, another is out of contract and will probably move on whilst Harry doesnt seem to have much faith in Bothroyd.

I think Adel and Hoilett will both look to move on as well.

Agree on the injuury isde for AJ and Zamora, but it's all ifs and buts.

We can't go into next season with AJ imo...shift him while he can walk THE biggest waste of wages this season, DJ? forget it, better for him and us to let him leave. Bothroyd?...got no faith in him. BZ? ..we have to get his surgery sorted, then maybe he will give us a presence upfront again, but then he could be out for months.......so i think we need to get some fresh strikers in, it's not like we can upset the applecart, cause most will be gone. Carlton Cole? if BZ ain't available then maybe but let's not offer a 4 year contract

Bit harsh on AJ I reckon, not his fault he got injured! I think our strike force will be ok next season.

DJ is proven at Champ level, as is Bothroyd. AJ is Prem proven, and no one will take him anyway so he's staying I reckon. Remy probably cut it, get rid... ;)

Carlton Cole wouldnt be bad, again proven at Champ level. Depends on wages though. I actually went to school with him and played footy with him everyday for 5 or more years. Nice lad, surprised he made it though as he wasn't even the best at our school!

Only managed 86 appearances in 5 years...only scored 13 goals in 4 years for the Fools, 3 of them v our defence. DJ out of contract so would imagine if 'Arry stays he won't sign a new contract, same with Both
