Has he even had a kick at West Brom since the transfer saga???

There Chairman got loads of praise at the time but in hindsight I bet he wishes he took the money and got him out the door as he is just costing them wages now plus a lost transfer fee

There were no winners in that one

Talking to a West Brom fan and he reckons the feller is a nightmare, think we may have had a lucky escape on this guy
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

I thought the problem was that we didn't meet the fee which was Hoilett + some cash. I don't think their chairman could have expected quite such a petulant reaction after it didn't go through, especially after he was not given permission by his club to speak to us. He ONLY wanted to come here for silly wages.

IMHO it is QPR and his agent that come out of this looking like plums, not West Brom. Hoilett has been toilet, so looks like poor business from us not agreeing to the fee now anyway.

What better than Remy? I bet he's glad it all fell through otherwise he'd be playing in the Championship next year!

But would Odemwinge want to play in the Championship? Probably not unless we double his wages, which is what we're all saying we shouldn't be offering big wages , I think we're going to be stuck with enough players on big money in the Championship let alone add more to the list we'll have to move a lot of dead wood on.

Missing out on a striker PeterO/Crouch and a CM M'vila/Cole had a huge impact post January.

Meant when Remy/Bobby were injured there was no real cover or balance and that Harry was basically forced to use the CM that Hughes left him.

The lack of goals is obvious but for CM I know some rate Granero/Mbia/Diakite/Derry but this season they have just not been even close to good enough.

Always going to be if onlys of course but if the summer goes like January and deals wait til the final day then the club is repeating mistakes.

It may sound stupid but odenwingie may have saved us. Look at the player who Harry has got in ALL hungry to perform.
