With Fernandes its always about the "profile"..hence we signed aged "names" that would boost the proofile such as Granero/Park/Boswinga etc ...after all if you are trying to market the club and promote your airline whats the point signing names that no one has heard of?

Hughes turned Adel into a Premiership star rather than Championship maverick, I gave up reading after that line...........apart from the odd goal here and there is Adel now a Premiership star, has the potential to be but nothing more than that currently.

              Amen Brother !
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

" A club that has lost all ties with its history and culture can no longer look to lure players for any other reason than money"

                Sad but true...................

All well and good saying TF signed ageing players on the way down, Diakite, Mbia, Hoilett, Granero, aren't ageing and just about everyone was kissing Cesar's butt after he managed to make a couple of stops (that he's paid for) and he is ageing, our best player Ryan Nelson? he's old yet again most of us were happy with him.
The whole thing is down to splits in the squad which Hughes brought about by instead of telling players they're not wanted forced them to train away from the main squad at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, and player attitudes young or old
