  • The Derry.Faurlin-Taarabt triangle

I believe we should use them together next season. Proven in the Championship, cares for the club (yes Taarabt cares) and all of them are individuals who has something to prove.

Is this a joke, does he care when he barely breaks into a jog during games or when he and his agent is *****ing him out in the media in the deluded hope that one of the big clubs will sign him.

Additionally whilst Derry is committed he is two year older since his last Championship season and that's probably at least one year to many.

I believe he cares....he just needs to be selected in every game he can play/feel that he´s special and wanted. Then there will be fireworks. Derry will be 36-37 next season...he has a couple of years left in him.

I would say we should play a cm trio of faurlin, diakite/m'bia, and jenas with taarabt playing as drift in lw as he seemed to relish that in the ccc

Exactly, the last time we built a team around Tarrabt it worked in the Championship but failed miserably in the Prem. Additionally you will be hard pressed to find another group of players that will indulge his every need as they did that season. Unfortunately Derry will be no more than a squad player and Faulin who lacked pace anyway is even slower since his injury. Why do you think Swansea and Norwich did better than us on promotion, they both had a team where as all we had was one overrated individual and a group of average players.

I think the poor opposition in pre-season played a huge part in QPR's slow, sluggish out of sorts start to the season. Also Faulin did not play in the games against Swansea or Norwich, but Diakite, who was fasting, did and in the hot temperatures was it surprising that he lacked energy?

I don't think we will need the triangle. Derry is hardworking and useful man, I won't force him to form such a triangle.

I still wanna see SWP given a go in the goalkeeper position. Why do such reasonable requests get ignored by the powers that be???

Diakite/Mbia over Derry now! Derry too old. Decent squad player though..

As much as we appreciate Taarabt's contribution in the title-winning squad, as much as I believe sticking with the same tactic of depending on him in the PL was one of the factors behind our relegation. We noticed how we improved a bit in March when he was not used. Let's move on and sell Taarabt to start playing as a whole-team rather than a one-man team again.

As for Derry, I think he has got one more season with us but let us keep him only on the bench and bring a younger midfielder or perhap use Jenas/Mbia. The same could be said about Hill.

Faurlin is the only one I think deserve another chance: Young and team player.
