  • Faurlin

Would any of you agree with me that Harry made a mistake by loaning out Faurlin? Harry hardly gave him a chance!
Faurlin is 10 times better than Mbia, he gives his all for the club, he was our best player last season before he got injured, he gets stuck in, and he plays the simple ball (something Mbia, or any of our midfielders, can't do).
I think Harry would be making a big mistake if he let Faurlin leave this summer. Hopefully we will see him back

Yes, yes and yes. He's not even improving his match fitness out there, he's played twice, once as a sub. He'd be racking up more game time over here.

If he's not playing over there they can't think he's good enough maybe the injury took more out of him than we fans see ,

Something else I partly blame Hughes for.

Boy was out for 9months but when he came back he was not eased in he was thrown straight in to play 90mins then more or less ran into the ground after that.

Yep, and more importantly, he wants to be here!
          Kept the faith!

            I disagree with the OP

As much as I like Faurlin, he wasn't perforing to his pre injury best. Very few do !

Loaning him out was the best thing to do, and the fact that he's only played twice for a team in the same situation as us, speaks volumes.

M'bia may not be everyones cup of tea, but he's produced plenty for us. A few MotM efforts IMO.
Besides, Jenas was more of a replament for Ale and he has Premiership experience, or at least more than Faurlin.

            Sorry.

As I indicated before I think some of it was due to Faurlin's agent who did not seem to be happy with him staying at Rangers. You may recall he wrote several articles in the newspapers indicating that Faurlin wanted to leave. Not sure there is much truth in this.

Should have been brought back and given match time slowly, instead of being chucked into full 90 minutes week-in week-out. More than capable player in the prem as proved before his injury (as i've said many times before). Hopefully he gets a chance to become himself again in the Champ if the inevitable does happen.

Totally agree with that. But also think that perhaps we don't really know how he is coping with his fitness, mental and physical, after his injury.
If he can recover his pre-injury form, he should definitely be kept and played as an integral part of the team next season in the Championship.

I think Mbia will do well in the Championship next season and also Diakite, if they stay.

Totally agree. Just back from injury and he makes him play the full 90 minutes in that Reading cup tie we lost. Can't believe he made him play the full game there...

Nope. Ali hasn't been the same since his injury. I do think he went to the wrong club however. I'd like him back next season but this season he wasn't quite there
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

this has been popping around on twitter, some may find it interesting:

The departure of Alejandro Faurlin to Palermo on loan was a decision that certainly divided opinions amongst fans. The Argentine had been something of a fans favourite at Loftus Road during the suc…

Stopped reading after this clueless statement in that:

"But the truth of the matter is that even during his pomp at QPR in the Championship he was often looked upon as the weak link – so much so that Warnock even tried to replace him with signing of Petter Vaagan Moen".
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.
