Have to agree with you, I just feel like the board trusted the wrong people and hope they have learned from this.
MH had all pre-season to sort out the back 4 and failed.
Players just signed for the money, some of them didn't show any passion at all.

Hughes, thought he could buy himself out of trouble, but instilled no team ethic.
players, overpaid and winning mentality is eroded because of it.
and I still think there is a hangover from the Bernie & Briatore farce, so voted other. In fact this is the biggest reason still because our policy changed from getting free transfer players, to then getting the leftover/late decision players late in the transfer window, and we're still suffering for it now.

Did someone actually blame the fans?

Hughes clearly made a mess of our club

              1. Wrong dealings
              2. wrong attitude with loyal players (the training situation)
              3. Ill advised our chairmen who trusted him

what can us as fans do, we had very little to cheer about.

The players. Disgusting lack of professionalism and application. Any manager would get more from cardboard cutouts.

Mark Hughes, Players, Tony & board...in that order. Hughes was responsible for managing the players, talk to them and give them advice. It seems he didn't do that, left all of them shot of confidence and knackered after the apparent extreme training. Players were then left unmotivated, ended up just looking forward to picking up their massive pay checks every week. Lastly, TF. He has to take some blame here for hiring that depressing man, but to be fair he bought some good players and it was really up to Hughes to take it from there and..well manage them properly.

If not any of these then I blame it on that bl***y cat! It's cursed!!!

                    This.

Albeit I believe Hughes was to blame in the personel he brought in and how he went about creating a "team"... Or lack of 1. Ultimately, though, there's 11 players out there every week that are, on the whole, $hit. Nobody else goes out and plays for us, it's down to those 11 players.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

                      I voted the players.
Even Jesus Christ would have a job getting that shower to play to their full potential.

I think we also need to mention the agents and all the other baggage MH brought with him, or are they all under the heading of Mark Hughes?

Still paying the price for the takeover being too late last season and Tango and Cash not giving Warnock the money to spend on the players that he wanted...
