This. I'm not a fan but we'll need him in the CCC.

Are we going to make the same mistake again by getting rid of our best 2010/11 team? At least Keep Mackie and Faurlin!

If we were staying up I'd bite somebody's hand off for £2m for him,but seeing as we're playing CCC football next season, I think Mackie is the sort we should be keeping hold of. Decent player at that level and 1 of the few we have got that actually half try for us.

Depends where he would be playing. He is not a right midfielder. The left back from MK Dons in league one made Mackie look silly and a poor excuse for a footballer. Even during the game saturday he ran into defenders on more than one occasion and lost the ball. BUT has a knack of scoring goals so might be useful as a back up striker in the CCC. Think we would struggle for goals if he was one of our main strikers next season though.

I'm not the biggest fan but if they sell JM when we're is about to play Championship football I will give up on this club. We've been shouting about lack of heart for six months now, this guy has heart and work rate, now about to play a level that suits him..

Agree. I'd keep Mackie for sure, very good championship player, out of his depth in the premier league, although he tries hard. People keep saying we need the heart back in our club, out of our current crop of players there's no one with more heart and stomach for the fight than Mackie, and in the championship that will benefit us.

I get this impression from him that he actually thinks he is a good player. Absolute dog s**t runs into people when dribbling, his running off the ball is comical when he runs into other peoples space, and loves to throw his hands up in the air if he don't get the ball.

£2m would be great business imo.

This is my point, and this is the only way to build a competitive team in the long run, especially when a smaller club. Work rate and heart for the badge, it needs to be built into the walls for years and years to come. It will bring us hard working talents who want more time on the pitch on their way to a bigger club. We'll stay a small club but few clubs become Man United..
