It is shocking how some on here have turned on Tf and HR.

Put thing in to Perspective. At this stage of the modern era of football we are in our infancy as a premier league club. regardless of how much money we have it takes time to build a club and a team.

We are on a par with clubs like Birmingham, wolves WBA reading, Southampton Norwich etc all who have had to go down to come back..some have since gone down again and that is where we need to learn a lesson from this. We will yoyo for a while. Remember no one was complainign when any of the players we have signed signed. And the fact that we have been unable to gel them together is due to Mark Hughes and his management style. I have no doubt that had redknapp been there from the start we would have stayed up.

So we are down. but we will be back.

Did we really pay £12 million or Samba?
Samba's a great defender, we've all been crying out for him for the last 3 years and now we've got him. 1 or 2 bad games and everyone wants him gone, make up your mind you lot.

In hindsight we should of kept most of the old Championship side but we all wanted new talent and we got it but it was a major disappointment as most here strictly for the wages

Never shall we buy these high profile mercenary type players, only players that got love for the club and its history
Blackburn Rovers not only bought to stay up they bought the title,..........and the championship winning team got murdered 5-0 by Bolton if you remember, although Gorkks, Connelly and Routledge weren't playing

If you invest in a premiership club with the sole intention of using it to market your airline then you need "names" and press attention. The Championship squad we brought up to the prem was not very marketable..players such as Granero, Park and Cesar etc however are marketable and bring needed press attention. Even rebadged a plane to bring them home from the very marketable pre season tour. Come on people..open your eyes. Tony is a PR specialist and twitter is a major tool for him. Patronising PR tweets are his weekly speciality.

I was well pleased when our club got Chris Samba in, I thought he would add a touch of steel to our back four.

Truth is, he's not lived up to my expectations, hasn't made the slightest bit of difference to a leaky defence, it's still ****** leaky.

Whether he stays, or goes, makes no real difference to me.
Although, I will say this about Samba, if the club decides to keep him on next season, he could prove pretty useful in the Championship. Then again, he might not.
                        Time will tell soon enough.

we need to recoup our money on Samba, a lot cheaper out there, we need to totally start again, 20 out 20 in, massive job for someone
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

Completely disagree. Especially if we want to come back at the first attempt

To be honest, Would've been different if we had them and they were playing. Gabbidon was at fault for some of their goals, whereas Gorkks/Connolly would probably have not been. Routledge was up there with Adel as our best players towards the end of the season, instead we had Bothroyd playing. Also Helguson was injured!
