    Offer them 2 million ffs.
What is an extra 500k between 1 millionaire and 2 billionaires when we are just 2 players away from a cracking chance of premiership football.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The window for loans opens next Monday.

I can't see how Hooper will sign for QPR and be registered with the FA by 5.00pm if he is still in East Yorkshire, unless QPR's people are already in the area.

            P.S.
Don't know hat QPR have offered, but I would offer £1.3M + Helguson or Agyemang and even offer to pay 50-75% bof their wages for this season. Either that or £1.7M-2M. Hooper has now scored at this level so perhaps he is capable of doing so on a regular basis, this makes him worth a gamble.

If our second offer was £1m I'm not surprised they turned it down - in this inflated market he has to be worth at least £1.5m. Think they need to either offer more or dangle a few carrots (Ephraim and Stewart on loan, say).

problem is, we've left it so late that i suppose scunthorpe are thinking "well if we accept the bid, who can they get in as a replacement at this short notice?"

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Stainrod. If Scunthorpe sell Hooper now they will have all of 45 mins to try and replace him!
