    of signing someone on deadline day? I remember back in the 80s or 90s we got someone who had been injured and he had to run to I assume the FA HQ and sign - and he gave some quote about how happy he was that he was now fit enough to run the few miles.
    Is that still the case or can it all be done by fax? Regarding Hooper, unless he has had medical (unlikely seeing as clubs haven't agreed a fee) and happened to be in London anyway, how wd we swing it? Not saying we can't, just wondering how it wd work. Anyone know?

        think you are right, it was six foot two, eyes of blue, one of my all time favourite players. if hooper turned out to be half as good a servant to the club as stevie wicks, i'd be well chuffed.

          About 6 different forms need to be signed, i think as long as they are signed before 5pm FA dont have to receive them before 5pm.
