Gestede, Helguson, Maynard Bellamy, Campbell, Mason, Velikonja, Smith.

Which formation are they going to use? 1-1-8?

He has played through the pain barrier. Why give him stick? I can see the general frustration behind it though

Think this is paper talk. He is clearly not fit and I understood that he was going to have another operation in the summer. Nobody is going to come in for him under these conditions.

If there is a chance to release him, then I hope we do it not because of his injury, but simply because he is not interested in football as he stated. Save his position for someone hungry to play.

My impression of what he said was that when he went home he didn't spend his spare time watching football, he had other interests outside of football. That's slightly different to hating football. How many of us spend our spare time watching other people doing the jobs we do?

Anybody got a link to exactly what he said on the subject?

That's exactly what he said, amazing how people can read the same article and come to different conclusions

I think he's too injury prone for any Prem club (newly promoted or otherwise) to take a risk on him, I think he'll stay and do a decent job next season, post operation.

Lets be serious he needs and op which is going to keep him out for up to 8 months. If he has it in May he will only be getting back to training in November and a month of fitness makes it December so has missed half the season. No club is going to sign a player who is one injured and two with an injury which is going to keep them out for first half of season.

I say no club but I do know of one club who would sign a player, no questions asked, in that condition I will allow you all to guess which club that would be............

Therefore see you in December Bobby

Not as if he is a decent striker and with his constant injuries and being out till December just move him on if we have the chance.

Any offer of 2m+ would have to seriously be considered.

If that has been Barton who put his boot in the chops of Gomez and got sent off in a vital relegation game that we went on to lose....he would have been crucified by some on here
