So not only a stadium, surely new roads etc to be built also?

Obviously I am aware of the crossrail project as I am working on it but that won't be finished until 2018/9 (Acton Mainline) with Old Oak Common not open till around 2026 due to the HS2 also planned to go through there.
well,i think it was accepted that this was at least 4-5 years away, which would bring us up to 2018.HS2 might not open til 2026,but thats the whole line from London up north. The London end construction starts 2017.Firstly,the London end, including Old Oak Common, would be amongst the first parts finished, second,do we have to wait until the line reaches the Midlands(first phase)before we can start construction?

I believe that East Acton station is moving as given its location there is no way they can make the access compliant to meet new legislation for disability access so potentially there is going to be a new station which would be of a higher spec

Old Oak Common isn't due to open till 2026 phase 1 London to Brum. Has it even been approved yet?, I don't know.

They ought employ more bar staff then. You can wait twenty minutes for a drink in that place on a match day....

HS2 has been given the go ahead(of course, that could change)the 2026 date is for full completion of phase 1 of HS2. I dont see how that stops any other development of the area. The whole development site goes from Kensal Green gas works right over to Hanger Lane/Park Royal
