  • Anzhi Makhachkala target Christopher Samba return?

Russian big-spenders Anzhi Makhachkala are reportedly keen to bring Queens Park Rangers defender Christopher Samba back to the club.

The centre-back moved to Loftus Road in the January transfer window from Anzhi after the club activated Samba's £12.5m buyout clause.

He came here because he wanted to be nearer to his family? He will stay with us.

I don't think settled in quick enough.

If we did sell him it would give us enough money to buy a few good championship players, to fight and win the league.

Got the chance to get rid of him and get our money back then do so because theres no way he is worth £12.5 million and the kind of wages he is on. We could buy 2 defenders as good as him for that kind of money. People on here were saying he was one of the top 5 CB's in the world...lol. Nelsen was a better defender at a fraction of the cost. Takes him 3 and a half minutes to turn round ffs.

They can have him......for £15M, not a penny less.

Otherwise, he can stay & be our defensive backbone.

Why would he return to Russia having already experienced their rascism 1st hand ?

Can't work out if you're joking or you can actually see an advantage in keeping this tranquillised rhino?

Exactly, the amount of times he's still lumbering back over halfway from a corner when the opposition are on the attack is ridiculous for a player costing us as much as he is.

He may be better after a full pre-season, but if we can send him back for the same price? No problem with that at all.

We'll get much better value for money in the Championship without having to look very hard at all.

Could be that Samba might prove useful in the Championship.
But, I will shed no tears if he is sold on by the club in the summer, either.
