As you say ,everyones got the right to their opinion, but its been proven before with Porsmouth , small clubs that live beyound their means , are the ones that gamble with their futures. And no ones living beyond their means more than us at the moment, the last thing we need is a debt of £150million hanging over us for a ground were not going to fill

Clubs like Pompey and Leeds gambled and look at them.

TF gambled on high profile managers to keep us up. Failed
TF gambled on delegating jobs to so called experts to create an excellent transfer policy. Failed
TF gambled on expensive players with huge salaries to save us. Failed
Don't gamble on the existence of the club. Football fans don't fill stadiums week in week out because it's got a Chiquitos restaurent next to it and a multiplex Cinema and is on a rail line otherwise Ashford would be in the Champions league.
Fulham have got huge debts over £100m owed to the owner and they haven't even moved and are fixtures in the premiership.
If TF has a long term view then he should of capped salaries and not panic bought, if the last two years are anything to go buy then we might as well move into a purpose built stadium in Legoland Windsor.
Just to point out Al Fayed cleared all their debt this season.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...an-equity.html
The difference between Fayed and Fernandes is that Fernandes is not prepared to just be our sugar daddy, he wants a return.

The timeframes used were just an example. Say it took us 3 seasons to get back up and our fan base stays the same. Once we get back up and establish ourselves you'd assume the fan base would grow. We need to plan for that now, rather then wait until we have 25k-30k+ fans demanding tickets. The new stadium would take min 5 years, realistically closer to 10 to complete.

TF's plan IS to get back up asap, or there really would be no point in a new stadium.

Fulham and Chelsea both had **** grounds with less attendance then us up until 10-15 years ago. Arsenal moved, Spurs want to move. West Ham have a brand spanking new stadium. Even Brentford are planning for a new one!

Fayed isn't a sugar daddy, a sugar daddy gives gifts by definition. Fayed hasn't handed his cash over to the club, all he has done is turn the debt into shares (equity) so he can get round the new rules. It's not a gift as Fayed will still get his money back when and if he sells. If he kept the debt, a new buyer would simply pay the equity minus the debt to Fayed, now a prospective purchaser would pay Fayed the equity absorbing the debt, he hasn't sacrificed anything.
A sugar daddy would be someone like Jack Walker, born and bred Blackburn lad who made an absolute fortune and then used his kids inheritance to take his club to glory which they did.
If anything TF is more Fayed than Walker, he purchased a club and to be fair are both descent chairman with hearts in the right place but they are money men they have no personal or historical links to the club and will want returns irrespective and won't wipe out debts with their own money, why should they.
