Prefer them to Swansea. nowhere near as smug and gobby as them. And they're a far bigger club than the jacks.
    Nothing to prove

Hello my Malaysian brothers ! Looks like we will be replacing you in the Premiership this season.
Think im gonna miss the Championship to be honest. You only have to look at this seasons table to see how exciting it still is. Charlton in 8th can still get relegated ! madness
As for your ex boys. Smith started well, had an injury and seemed to be missing an age, recently come back and played well last week but on bench again tonight(came on sub).
Helguson had a good start to the season but seems past it now. Doesnt lose many headers but legs are totally gone.
The 1 player that has been fantastic (but currently injured) has been Matthew Connolly. Played right back for us most of the season and been tremendous. Covering at centerback when needed. I think he maybe the only 1 out of the 3 we keep.
Im sure a lot of your older wiser fans will love the championship next year as i think you will probably walk it, Hopefully losing a few of the Premiership plastic fans on the way. Im dreading the plastic fans thats jumping on our bandwagon allready.
Anyhow good luck next season and really hope you come back up. Championship standard isnt as strong as recent years in my oppinion

It pains me to say it but well done

Best not to go down our route of saying players that got you up are past it and looking for "premiership quality" players, you should be doing everything to keep the team that got you up and just add reinforcements. What we didn't do and should of done, is from now start looking at the top players in championship teams that didn't go up, often many of the top players heads drop as they missed out on premiership football. I think Summer is an ideal time for a newly promoted club to go for these players, they are not on premiership teams radar, promoted clubs have played aginst them week in week out so know them and a bigger but not outrageous contract plus premiership football will hopefully get them to sign. If only we had gone for Zaha two years ago, he's on £35k p/w at utd, we are paying Bosingwa almost double that.
Avoid at all costs ageing and infirm "premiership quality players" like andy Johnson, bobby z, dyer, park, who cost a fortune and add nothing. Also avoid unknown foreign players regardless of whether they are fringe players at big clubs unless you have an international scouting team that know what they are doing or your managers called Laudrup.
As you say the championship might not be that strong but nor is the premiership. The premiership is easy to stay in, if you have a plan and are sensible. Poor teams like Norwich, West Brom, Fulham, West Ham and even your friends down the road have all thrived. The Premiership isn't the league inhabited by giants of football unlike yesteryears, you don't get the quality of the Bergkamps, overmars, Kanchelskis, cantona, or Zola etc coming at you week in week out. You know the premiership is poor quality when an 80 year old Giggs is still a major threat and the best playerin the league plays for Liverpool.
I think Bellamy has a big role for you guys, he comes across as quite bright and does appear to have matured everything that Joey hasn't done, he may be able to keep your clubs feet on the ground and avoid going down the route us clowns went down.

Doesn't Wales have its own premier league, national team, FA, national stadium, and of course devolved government with responsibility for sport?

There is no justification for letting Welsh teams continuing to play in English football. Wales is a foreign country as far as I'm concerned.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Not surprised to hear Connolly has done well. Sadly, we had a few fans who just wanted get off his back. You can see he is class. Good on the ball, reads the game well and times his tackles well. Yes, he might not win every header, but neither do most defenders. Compare him to our defenders who just panic on the ball and just hoof it away at the first attempt. At least Connolly tries to keep the ball rather than give it straight back to the opposition like Hill and Samba. And he can play in a few positions.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

                        THIS!

Can't stick Cardiff - probably my most hated team tbh. Hard to swallow seeing em replacing us in the PL.

Always liked Connolly and have always said I would have kept him. Exactly as you say, composed on the ball and reads a game well. A few people seemed to make him scapegoat, very unfairly IMO.

tbh whether we hate them of not they deserve it. They have entered the play off in the last 3 seasons and failed. This time it worked. Well done Cardiff.
