I always think players like JB have an invisible effect.....seeing where the danger comes, from the shape of the
opposition, and adjusting and holding the shape of the team he's playing for

    and he's never injured!

Damn right! It's kind of funny because many wouldn't have Joey in a thread about brains but he has a football brain that we've been missing as well as other intangibles! I think some of these high priced players who are playing the game so uninterested would have felt the wrath of JB!

I usually agree with you Carl, but where was his football brain at Maine Road last season when he knew we needed a result to guarantee safety and he got completely schooled by that c unt Tevez?

Even brilliant people can snap once in awhile! When I say he has a football brain I mean he can read the game well and can adapt, that seems to be missing from our side in general and that is one of the reasons we're so easy to beat! Joey very foolishly fell in to a trap at MR and that could have been very damaging to our survival but look where we are now with many players that don't seem to give a toss!

II wouldnt say he had brains but he had the guts to dig out shirkers and players making f,, k ups and had a will to win and take the responcibility to lead the team
