Im baffled by the team Redknapp picked today. We needed 3 points and he goes with only one striker ffs and leaves our most creative players Taraabt on the bench. I really cant get my head round that negativity. Ok Bothroyd is not brilliant we know that but surely he should have played up top with Remy today.

On a brighter note i was glad to see Diakite back. Nice little cameo down the touchline.

On a more sombre note after playing well and matching Everton in the first half the goal knocked the stuffing out of us. We just seemed to lose all fight and belief. The real disappointing thing for me was the lack of fans that went. Top tier closed cos we didnt sell enough tickets and i could basically walk anywhere round the bottom tier. Then we have the nerve to taunt Everton with "Your support is farking ****". I know were as good as doomed but expected to see our allocation taken up. At least those who went tried to make some noise. To make it worse for me i lost my friggin ticket somewhere between the pub and ground and had to buy another at the gate :(

Should of started with bothroyd.he has scored the winner in his last two starts and we've looked most effective with Remy playing off a big man,not upfront but himself.
Why he doesn't start bothroyd i don't know.

Should have started with Adel. First half and first 15 of the second we looked terrible, no creativity whatsoever and the players gave up trying. If Adel had started we'd have plenty more opportunities and would have got everyone else more up for it.

Not playing Taarabt, especially when we`re playing with one fw, is crazy. We needed to win Harry.....

Had me scratching my head too, Naarven.
If Zamora had been available, I'm sure Harry would have played him. So, why didn't he start with Bothroyd up top with Remy?
Bothroyd has done well when Harry's called on him, and Jay carries no injury that I'm aware of. A puzzler that's for sure.

He might be looking to get rid, and thinks there is a better chance if he plays.

rednapp has had me scratching my head aswell , some of his team selections have been awlful and he cant seem t settle on his best 11. he needed to go a bit gung ho y;day and go all out for a win so why wasn't bothroyd thrown on . its the same out same old this season regardless of who the manager is its inept perfrmances and excuses from rednapp and sparky

Don't think it's fair to say his starting line ups have been 'awful' the way I've seen it he has selected certain personell to suit certain games. If said players play shyte or can't take on the instructions they've been given then you've no chance.

As far as Saturday goes yes I would of liked to have seen us start with 2 up top & as bad as the situation is where we absolutely need to score goals & win you can't just go willy nilly against a very capable team like Everton away from home because at the end of the day they are much better than us & will make mince meat of our lot unfortunately. Harry went cautious in the hope of containing them & nicking one on the break through Remy's pace. As it turned out they scored first & it throws all plans out the window.

I would of started with Bothroyd myself but can see why he didn't. We're just not very good & the sooner he gets rid of some of these & gets new players we'll be in a better position, albeit the CCC !
