  • Fernandes Haters

If we go down then so be it.
Some of the hate towards TF this season has been disgraceful!!!
The only mistake he made this season was not getting rid of Hughes earlier.

Where would we be now, had he not taken over?

Some say Flavio and Eccles Cake saved us, but they also destroyed us so much that Tony is picking up the pieces and trying to turn the club around for the long term.

I would rather go down, knowing that we have someone that cares, and won't walk away.

When we had 2 men that wanted a plaything, trying to flog £100 Lotto Trainers, Cashmere Scarfs, and made the club a laughing stock.

We are still a laughing stock with the amount of money that has been chucked at our team , and were still going down .

As ive said before Fernandes will go long before we do ,trust me
I dont share Fernandes`s dream about QPR , i dont want us to sell our soul, ive seen it happen to Chelsea and i know how mates of mine that are proper Chelsea fans , feel about their club now , ( and theyve got the sort of sucsess we wont ever have ),
Its been shown we dont need a new 40,000 stadium, its f ucking annoying at the moment that when we play Man u the ground sells out in hours, i dont know where all these people are for every other game, but we have had a regular home support of about 13000 for very long time ,and i for one am happy with that.
No one asked for Fernandes to change the face of QPR , it was bad enough when Tango and Cash took over ,gave us that s hit badge and told us we were gonna be a boutique club.
Dont get me wrong ,i want succsess ( i know i cant spell it ), but i dont want Rangers to turn into some coorporate ,soulless business more

I agree that people having a go at him are out of order. However, to say that is the only mistake is wrong.

He knows nothing about running a football club and we are a joke club now.

Giving players massive deals that they are not worth to get them to come to a club they don't want to be at for any other reason and having them on 5x the salary of their team mates - now that is a massive mistake. Won't work anywhere in the world. That's why no one else does it.

However, I like him and want him to stay and learn.

TF has failed big time up to now.

Investing in a new academy and training facilities, investing in the team, planning a new stadium, yeah, massive failure....
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Team investment has been a massive failure and as for new ground/new training facilities/new academy so far its all just TF sound bites to placate the fans. Has a shovel actually gone into the ground at any of these sites? talks the talk does our Tone and knows what to say and when to say it, very clever at all the PR stuff just not to clever when it comes to running a football club. Still its probably not his money that he has just p155ed up the wall the last 2 seasons is it. He had a crack at it and has failed where the likes of the Swansea/Norwich board and owners succeeded..lets hope he has learnt from his mistakes (and sacks Phil the Beard to start with). For the record i am not a TF hater i just think he has been a fool and needs to stay away from twitter and the patronising PR spinning sh1te he comes out with annoys me. He is not a fan he is here to make big money and up to now he has failed. Will be here long after he has gone and after looking back on these 2 abject seasons i am worried about the legacy he is going to leave behind.

Building a new groundobviously does not happen in one season does it. they have put plans together, it just takes time. Ask Spurs about it.

I can't believe people want us to stay as little old Rangers and not have any ambition. People that think we were so great before any of the Briatore mob or TF and co came in. We were weeks away from going into administration, and possibly doing a Luton.

We should cherish someone like this who eventually wans to make us self sufficient and sucessful. i.e Having an increased capacity stadium and stability in the Premiership.I do not think he wants to take our indentity away like Flav and BE I believe he just wants to make us better.

Some people just want to keep going on and on about the mistakes he has made. He is not stupid and knows what has happenned and am pretty sure he will not let it happen again

As for him not being a fan, maybe he wasn't, but why couldn't he be now. He was sitting in the away end a few rows in front of me at West Ham(the team he is supposed to REALLY support), wearing a blue and white scarf, so that tells you something I'd say. I'm sure it will be seen by some as "manipulative PR", but honestly think he does care for us.

The issue about the moving ground just shows TFs naivety and his misunderstanding of what type of club we are.

Correct someone said earlier that how can we only sell out man utd within minutes and somehow we need a bigger ground.

Arsenal traditionally our closest massive neighbours hasn't even sold out and it was before being moved a 3 Saturday fixture in May.

TF appointed MH fair enough but alarm bells should have started ringing ealier with poor results and increase in agents activities and purchase of players that were rubbish or injured and most commonly both. Instead of stepping in TF delegated core responsibilities to clowns that made matters worse.

I agree TF comes across as someone with his heart in the right place, but many clubs have been ruined with wealthy owners not engaging their brains.

As a fanbase we know where we have come from, if TF said £40k p/w CAP on players salaries and said we simply as a club can't afford more, on a whole the fans would have understood, you have few who say we need a new ground with a cinema and need to compete with Chelsea and should be paying £100k p/w to get the best but reality is QPR fans know we are a small club that's at it's best with a great team spirit and knows its limitations.

Some people on here make me laugh:

                    - Yes, TF will be gone before most of us. I plan to live until at least 80 and don't imagine switching allegiance. Who knows, TF may be here for 10 years.
                    - We may not literally have started building a training ground but plans are in place. Actual plans, like we've submitted blueprints to the councils for approval etc
                    - We DO need a new stadium, not now but certainly in 5 years.
                    - I'd rather we be a Chelsea then a Luton.
                    - New fans/stadium wont price our fans out. We have some of the highest ticket prices anyway, our loyal core still show up.
                    - TF is not responsible for individual player errors or poor performances, but he is ultimately responsible and he admits that and wants to rectify it. Lets not drive away the best owner we've ever had. Naivety is not a crime, especially as he has commuted himself to the long term future of our club.

would rather listen to TF with his optimistic approach to relegation that take in half the bile that's spewed out on here....if this forum was my only source of information I would be arrested for multiple failed suicide attempts.

Why would you expect optimism ? its not the QPR way ! i thought that was in the contract ,when we signed up for a lifetime of Rangers misery.

Yes because nothing he has done has worked out... It seems that people just want to blame someone and who better than the guy that has been investing in our club and trying to make us a force. Lets not forget what he has single-handedly done because had it not been for him travelling to France to personally meet Remy and play fifa with him, we would have seen Remy in a Newcastle shirt and even worse, we wouldn't be able to cash in on him should we go down. I don't think Remy has a clause based on Redknapp's latest interview so it seems that we can make a nice profit on him. Also, I don't think many owners in the premier league would have sanctioned the signing of Nelsen and look at what he did. He was a hero for us. Fernandes also managed to convince JULIO CESAR, one of the best goalkeepers in the world to join us over Arsenal and I don't care whether he spent ridiculous amounts of money on these players because at least that shows that he is committed to improving our club and the infrastructure he plans to put in place will make us big in the future

Most fans feel the same way, it's only that we are all upset.

Single handedly overseen two embarrassing seasons in the prem ? Won only 4 games up to now this whole season ffs. Dont think Fernandes has got ANYTHING to be proud of up to now. Lets hope he has learned some lessons. His naivety has cost us.
