  • QPR face summer exodus - The Guardian

QPR's relegation would expose Loïc Rémy to Premier League vultures

Loïc Rémy will be the prized target for the Premier League's predators if Queens Park Rangers are relegated, with Tottenham Hotspur prominent among those considering whether to pay the France striker's £8m release clause.

QPR's grip on their top-flight status loosened further when they drew 1-1 at home to Wigan Athletic on Sunday, with the manager, Harry Redknapp, cutting a distraught figure after the visitors' 94th-minute equaliser, describing the result as the "toughest" of his career.

An exodus of QPR's best players would almost certainly follow relegation from the Premier League

The thing is though, if we did have a massive clear out would you honestly miss any of them? (other than tarrabt, remy)

The reason why we failed was due to buying the wrong players.

I honestly think relegation would do us a favour to start again fresh.

I wish the press would make there minds up. One minute were facing a summer of going into financial oblivion as we have overspent the next all our players are going to leave which means we wont be loosing the money they have speculated!!!!

The GREAT BRITISH PRESS which is t?????????

These articles are boring as fark. The media are scum low life's. The Metro is the only decent paper
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

My worry would be we cant get rid and are lumbered with dead wood.

Cant see many clubs rushing to try and sign Park, Granero, Ferdinand, SWP, Onoura, Bosingwa etc etc

ive had more than enough of these overpaid mercenarys bleeding my club like leeches , compare them to the team we had last time we were promoted/ in our first couple of years of the top flight , a brilliant mix of English youth ,like Fereday ,Dawes , Neil ,and stars of the day like Allen and Fenwick and a good solid squad including the likes of Stainrod, Hazell etc What would i give to have that sort of team again, we did it right then ,and thats why we stayed up for so long .
But then we didnt have a foreign businessman, however well meaning he may be , ( who seems to want to change Rangers, into somthing we are not ),running the club who dosnt really understand the club ,or how to run a small club as a stable top flight outfit

I think we could shift Park though, could quite easily go back to Korean League as a God.
Granero could still have takers back in Spain.

Dunno how safe i`d feel going back to Korea at the moment , might be safer being a wigan fan lost on the underground after beating millwall tommorrow !

Bit of a contradiction there, is it not?

You know what I mean, when you have a semi final that is Wigan v Millwall and whoever wins not only reaches the Cup Final but also qualifies for Europe before the match even kicks off.
It's a semi final that you would think would be the League Cup Semi, as most of the big clubs don't take the League Cup seriously.

Would love to be in that semi tomorrow.
Either probably wouldn't win the cup, but you never know what could happen.

Hate Millwall, but would hate Wigan to stay up and be in Europe next season.
