Will go down as a legend at the club once he is gone and then people will realise what we have lost
Really cant believe you are still posting this **** after he has made you look stupid 2 season in a row...

Wake up mate...He aint good enough...for the prem...YET!

Townsend, a 3rd choice striker at puds has achieved more than him in his short term with us....

remy has shown how a finisher should finish....

those who say he was getting better under hughes...remember we were losing consistently under hughes
He not allowed freedom under HR....we are winning and drawing under HR...?

Point is id rather take a win or draw & not see Tarbs, than watch him and lose..

As for not playing etc.. you've mugged yourself mate
If you play so much then how come you can make the games? Shouldn't you be playing on Sat afternoons if you are any good?
    Didn't think so!

    Oh dear!

good enough for the prem? When has he proved that mate? Two seasons at the bottom with us where he has done nothing of note other than 5 or 6 moments of amazing ball skill. Not a lot from 70 + 90 minutes or so of prem games. Lets see who out of the prem rushes in for him at the end of the season...He is not even the best player in the team let alone a "legend"

Stats don't look so good and he does slow the game down often...but stats mean nothing and he's playing for a club in a relegation battle. He could easily play the way he does at a bigger club and not get criticised as much as he does here. More than good enough for the Prem and will do well wherever he goes next season.

Wouldn't go that far mate. I like Ben Arfa a lot, also I like Taarabt a lot. Very similar players, although Taarabt has much more natural ability/skills/tricks (obviously we all know you don't get points for doing stepovers etc). Both played in the prem for two seasons, Taarabt in a team battling relegation both years. Ben Arfa scoring 9 goals and 9 assists in 49 apps, Taarabt 7 goals and 9 assists in 62. Just a quick google search on the premier leagues website. Also both have similar records to each other at international level.

Not saying one or the other is better, but to call Adel a poor mans ben arfa is a bit extra.

More then likely Ben Arfa, although his injury record is pretty bad. They both offer you the same thing, creativity, moments of magic, lazyness, useless at defending, they are so similar. If you put Adel in newcastles team and ben arfa in ours I would imagine we would both be in the same places.

Agree with most of that but the difference for me is Ben arfa has speed and seems to strike the ball cleaner. Also he is better than Adel at dead balls. Adel has amazing ball skills dont get me wrong but he is not an exceptional all round footballer and for some fans to class him as a QPR "legend" is a bit embarrassing. Townsend and Remy are both far superior players to Adel.

I think the fans saying this are probably under 25ish. I'm to young to have seen Bowles, Marsh, etc but my old man tells me all about them at any given opportunity. I grew up watching the early 90's team so the legend I saw was Sir Les, but since then IMO Adel has been far our best player but it don't say much with the dross we have had to watch since 1996.

Is Adel a legend for me? It depends what you call a legend. If he stays next season and does what he done last time he was in the championship 1) he gets us promoted & 2) he has shown great loyalty. Not often these days a player stays with a club for 5 odd years plus.

This debate has been crazy and has been going on for ages, as I keep saying he aint a world beater, but he is far from useless as some people make out.

I hope Adel stays if we go down, you can't put a price on the pass he made for Miller to score against Leicester or the pass he made for Routledge to score against Coventry, which turned 2 points into 6 or of course his 19 goals. Players like Adel can turn a game upside down with moments of magic.......Cardiff away another prime example, when his 2 goals kept us on course for promotion. No he hasn't set the Prem alight and no he isn't a legend but we have been struggling and I remember Bowlesy not being great in a struggling team in 78/79.

Not even first choice for Morocco who are ranked lower than Scotland.

Can you just remind me when he's proved he is good enough for the Prem I have only missed a handful of games live and I must have missed that. Only in his head, and that of a handful on here is Prem class, constantly found wanting at this level and will never get a move to another Prem team.

No one will accommodate him slowing the play down, pointless step overs, wrong decisions, poor set pieces and weak and pointless shots. The good teams are good because they don't have players like him that the others carry for 75 minutes of every game, why do you think we are where we are.
