As the months have gone by since Harry has been here, each week Adel is getting worse. When he plays he isn't playing his own game, more concentrating about playing it simple, not taking people on, and that is just not him. A player like that needs to be told to play off the striker and go express yourself and win us games, but in the position we are in we can not afford that. All this talk about he can not cut it in the prem is rubbish, he would flourish in a better team without no relegation worries and better players around him. As I said in another thread, he won't play for Man U or Man City, but for a big mid table club he would be a great player. He is already proven he can be that main man in premiership games, the game against Fulham at home, and for his second goal I will tell you now NO other player in this league would of thought of doing that or would have pulled it of with such ease.

Will he be here next season? I hope so. What is going in our favor is that he hasn't played well consistently so teams may not take a punt on him, and he is under a long contract. He may want to be the big fish in a small pond again also. But I am sure there is 1 club in Europe who is bigger and better than QPR who are willing to to take a chance on him. It will be sad to see him go as for me he has been our best player since the mid 90s, and has provided me and I am sure most of you some memories we will never forget.

Agree Totally he put in one cross with the outside of his foot! the rest was mediocre did we forget him knocking the ball out for a goal kick when we had a free kick in a dangerous position around the box the whole ground moaned and their fans couldn't stop laughing, I dont remember him having any involvment in our goal? but plenty in theirs

Even his simple passes are done with the outside of his foot and with a drop of the shoulders...like he's doing it in front of a mirror Greatest player in the world in his own head.
Also doesnt seem able to take on and beat prem class players like he does in the Championship. Hope he stays as he is a top Championship player but hasnt got the intelligence or attitude to make it in the prem. Can have amazing moments during the game with some defence splitting pass or a nutmeg and a stepover but this is usually surrounded by frustrating ball hogging or wasteful free kicks or corners. He does try things that no one else in the team would even think to try and when he pulls it off its amazing but the ones that he pulls off are fewer and far between the last 2 seasons in the prem.

Just goes to show what shyite we've suffered over the last 15 years or so.

In the PL: A limited player

In the Championship: A defenders worst nightmare (for both teams).

              I hope he stays.........

Player of the season award and 20goals with giving us promotion to the prem dismisses all negative comments regarding not having him in the championship.

                    Good post.

But I think you could say that about many players.

For example: Man United had Ji Sung Park...... we ended up with Rag Pis Junk.

So. It is a question if a team is willing to accept his limitations (and temperament) within a cohesive, effective unit (perhaps your Tottenham's of the world...... ironically).

In the PL - I don't think they will....... But in France for example - probably within a heartbeat.

Do you honestly any of the top 5 in Prem or top teams apround Europe will take Adel with his inconsistancy? I personally think no top team in any of Europe's major leagues will touch him

Marseilles took to Barton for example - hence my reference to France. Italy, Spain or Germany - forget it IMO.
