  • Plan B

So here is my plan B for next season if I was HR.

Sell: Remy, Samba, César, Granero, Cissé, Derry, Hill

    Keep:
    GK: Green, Murphy
    RB: Young, Bosingwa
    CD: Ferdinand, Ben Haim, Onuoha
    LB: Traore, Suk-Young
CM: Diakité, Ji-Sung, Faurlín, Mbia, Jenas
    RM: Mackie, SWP
    LM: Hoilett, Taarabt
    FW: Johnson, Zamora, Campbell, Bothroyd

Get 2 players on loan from PL clubs and fill up with our own youngsters (U23 is in 3 spot in its league and U18 is on top) there should be someone decent there.

Should be able to field a decent team with the aim to go straight back up.

not many of them players fill me with any confidence i must admit. Cant see us getting promoted with that bunch.

With a tighter defence, we should, in theory at least, wipe the floor with most teams in the championship.
As is the case now, our defence will be our undoing in the championship, if anything at all.

I think there are a lot of good championship players there and in my opinion these team should win a lot of matches
        Green
        Bozingwa, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Traore
        Hoilett, Mbia, Faurlin, Taarabt
        Zamora, Johnson

Zamora and Johnson wont last the first 3 games without injury, Hoilett has no interest (or fitness), Mbia is a pub player (without the brains), our defence looks non-existant (Bos and Traore cant defend if their life depended on it and dont get me started on Anton) and even worse than it has been the last 3 or 4 games. Faurlin and Green are decent Champ players tho.

Forgot Adel...great player in the Championship if he stays.
Best players for me at times this season have been Fabio,Nelsen,Townsend, Remy and Cesar.... in a season where we have only won 4 games they are the only players to stand out and none of which will be available to us next season.

Bothroyd out of contract in the summer and probably currently on a wage that far exceeds his contribution and talent, doubt he will be re-signed.

Zamora and Jonhson we are stuck with for another year due to their contracts. Unless of course we can find some mugs to buy them.

Why does everyone keep posting 'next years team' with all the same faces we have already? Why would you want to keep any of them????????

There are a couple of players that might be worth using as a starting point but the rest are either sh!t or are going to be so burnt out from being relegated from the prem.
