He's not as bad as SWP, actually scored for us a few seasons and put in a few really food performances (against Southampton away he was top notch), confident he'll be our best player in the championship next season

This. Baffles me why some people would want to keep as many of this lot as possible, we would sink to the bottom of the Championship like a rock.

QPR need to keep some of them because under Redknapp they have been performing better.

QPR will need to add some more Championship & League 1 players to the squad, but having some quality and potential match winners like Taarabt and Hoilett can make the difference between being a bog standard side or a promotion winning one.

Hopefully QPR will be able to tempt Townsend and Tottenham into a deal to keep him on next season.

Players such as Cesar, Bosingwa, Zamora, Samba, Mbia, Granero, Park, Remy Ferdinand, Cisse, Barton will probably move on (if QPR can unload some of them given the wages they are being paid. –cant believe relegation clause were not included in their deals).
