  • Patrick Agyemang

This chap has always had me a bit puzzled. Does everyone remember his first couple of months at the club, he was fantastic?

Loads of pace, bags of confidence and looked dangereous every time he touched the ball.....8 goals in his first 6 games.

Now look at the Agyemeng we have now, he works hard but looks completely devoid of confidence and dreadfull in front of goal.....only 3 goals in his last 34 games!

Now if you go back through Patricks playing history you have to say that the Agyemang we have currently is pretty much the same Patrick Agyemang that played for Wimbledon, Gillingham and Preston, scoring at very best a goal every 4 or 5 games.

My question is how good would Patrick Agyemang be if he could have retained his form of early 2008, he'd probably be a Premiership player. Should we be concerned about letting him go to a rival club in case he finds his shooting boots again?

He went through a purple patch when he first signed...He is not a prolific goalscorer and for me doesn't offer much as a player.

I appreciate that on current form he doesn't offer much Chris......all I am saying how does a guy who for 6 games was striking fear into every defender he came up against turn into such an average player?!!!

his fear of shooting...think he is too scared to miss after his start with us....cannot handle the pressure that was on him to keep it up.
