QPR Subuteo team on Ebay
Last edited by NW_Hoopz; 05-04-2013, 11:24 PM."Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

The heavyweights were from around the late sixties early seventies era, but being Dukla Prague might have bumped the price up..there was a song inspired by Subbuteo called " All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit" by Half man Half Biscuit!!! the HWs were best imo.
He was like a kid at Christmas!
Seriously, he used to pay top dollar for some teams

this one i think...looks a good book.
See your book is still for sale on Amazon TW...some good reviews, some bad reviews but this one made me laugh :-)
"It was with a sense of real eagerness that I bought and began reading this book. I had hoped for an insight into the mind behind the world's greatest football game. How wrong I was. What we have here is a poorly written, disjointed account of flash cars, womanising, trips on the QE2 and other general tittle tattle, written by the son of the game's inventor. The use of language and sentence structure are quite dreadful in places. Mr Adolph's expensive public school education (of which he has much to say) clearly did not include basic grammar, and the book's publishers should look closely at their editorial and proof-reading staff.
Even the most avid Subbuteo fan will be disappointed by this lacklustre affair. Save your money, don't buy this book. Indeed, as Mr Adolph is at great pains to point out throughout, his entire life has been subsidised by Subbuteo; he surely doesn't need our money to help him sustain that lifestyle."
Just goes to show you cant please everyone :-)Last edited by vblockranger; 06-04-2013, 01:49 PM.
