I played as a keeper for Sunday League back in the 80's. Then I played as keeper for Perth Inter out in Oz, probably the same standard as Middlesex Saturday league. The team was mainly made up of Italians, we played in Inter Milan kit, also a German, a Swede, French fella, three of us Poms oh yeh and one Aussie!
Now I play as 5-a-side keeper, not bad at age 46!

Played centre back for Faraday High School but me Dad put a stop to that as I had to work Saturdays in his shop .............. had a row with him when I was 17 and lived with me Aunty for a month when I went back, he was in the process of selling the shop ,ended up in the building trade
Worked for DHL for a while during the 80's recession and played for their Sunday team, got taken away for corporate tournaments too with travel and hotels paid for UNTIL we ended up having a few late late drinks in the senior managers room, when he fell asleep I turned or the pay-as-you watch 'ADULT' channel and left it playing when we all left the room. He went balistic in reception in the morning ......... Someone must have grassed me up as I never got another game after that weekend in Leeds
Story of my life really, if I didn't fleck about so much it could have tuned out so so different"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."
