I am sure we R's supporters are all feeling the same. Let down by our players and hugely disappointed by these two years spent in the Premier. (Hope I am counting my chickens before.........!) After mistakes are done, it is very easy to say what should and what should not been done. However, NW was right when he said that MH destroyed his team. When we won promotion, we did not added that many high profile players. If I am correct, we won three games (including an away victory against Everton) in our first ten games, which was quite impressive. Yes, we then went on a long run without a win, NW got sacked and the problems began with Hughes. Mistake after mistake was done here. Players on huge wages was brought in, with big heads, feeling they are bigger then the R's. There's no point getting Messi or Ronaldo, if they don't like the club and playing only for the money. We just pushed the wages up to get the best players around. Did they realy wanted to join us? I don't think so. Barton, Cisse, Bosignwa, Remy, Samba, Cesar, Park, Granero....they all played for bigger clubs or have higher ambitions. And it showed. I hated when our own Manager speaks to Remy and telling him, ''joining QPR will help put yourself in the shop window!'' Jesus. Is this the way to attract players to Loftus Road. We should be proud and let no one take us for a ride.
I was encouraged by the latest statement by TF. However, being optimistic is one thing and facing the reality is another. The Championship is very differenet from the Premier and although I agree that with our current squad we should run away with it.......but the big question lies here. Are the players COMMITTED to take the club back?

A very good post. Hindsight of course, but if Warnock was allowed to buy I.e. Graham and a few others to strenghten the nucleus of the team this short spell in the prem could have lasted so much longer.

PS. The paragraph I pointed out says it all; we have to be very careful not to end up like a boutique once again.
